Turkish MoD: Radio communication and radar contact with one of our F-16 aircraft, which had taken off from the 9th Main Jet Base Command in Balıkesir, was lost as of 00:56. As a result of search and rescue operations launched immediately, it was determined that the aircraft had crashed, and the wreckage has been reached. Our pilot has been killed.
