Deploying radars in Syrian territory would significantly restrict the Israeli Air Force's freedom of action in Syrian airspace, as was in recent strikes, as Turkish radars could detect Israeli aircraft activity over the country.

3 week agoFalcon 50 Business Jet Crash in Ankara, Turkey. At 20:10 this evening, a Falcon 50 business jet with tail number 9H-DFJ departed Ankara Esenboğan Airport bound for Tripoli. Contact with the aircraft was lost at 20:52. An emergency landing notification was received from the aircraft in the vicinity of Haymana; however, no further communication has been established since then. There are five passengers on board, including Libyan Chief of the General Staff, General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad.
